Restoration work continues and we are now down to 1779 members at 87 separate locations. This is down from a high of almost 10,000 members without power on Sunday night. While these photos were taken in Lumpkin County, the scene has replayed all throughout our ten county service area – trees blown down on power lines, leaving a tangled mess. In many cases the roadways must be cleared first, then the trees cleared off the lines after which new lines can be installed. If the pole is broken, it requires more time to replace the pole.
