Immediate openings
Amicalola EMC has immediate openings for the following positions: Qualified Linemen and Tree Trimmer Trainees. We will begin taking applications on Monday, August 13 through Monday, August 27. Experience and high school education required. Current outages
The rain continues and as the ground gets more saturated, the likelihood of trees falling increases. Currently 756 members are out of power scattered across Dawson and Gilmer counties with one large outage affecting 655 members in Pickens County near Cove Road and Grandview. A tree has torn the line down and crews are working to restore power now. Please remember to always stay away from downed power lines. You may report outages to the following numbers: 706-253-0359, 706-276-0359 or 706-864-0359. In addition, you may report an outage from your mobile device. Currently experiencing power outage

We currently have a circuit out in the substation that serves the Salem Road, Talc Mine Road, Henderson’s Mtn., Jordan’s Crossing, Saddle Ridge area. This circuit affects approx. 900+ members.
