The rain continues and as the ground gets more saturated, the likelihood of trees falling increases. Currently 756 members are out of power scattered across Dawson and Gilmer counties with one large outage affecting 655 members in Pickens County near Cove Road and Grandview. A tree has torn the line down and crews are working to restore power now. Please remember to always stay away from downed power lines. We currently have a circuit out in the substation that serves the Salem Road, Talc Mine Road, Henderson’s Mtn., Jordan’s Crossing, Saddle Ridge area. This circuit affects approx. 900+ members.
