Please don’t fall victim to a scam.  It has been reported that Amicalola EMC members may have received telephone calls stating they are eligible for a “meter upgrade” , given a telephone number and asked to call.  Amicalola EMC has not authorized any calls regarding meter upgrades.  If you receive a call from anyone regarding meter upgrades that says they are representing Amicalola EMC, we advise you to hang up.  You may call us at 706-253-5200 OR 706-276-5200 OR 706-864-7979 any time you want to verify something about your electric account.   Please use caution when giving out any personal information.

The 2021 Nominating Committee met on June 29, 2021, and prepared a list of nominations for election of three directors at the Annual Meeting to be held on October 2, 2021.

Nominated for directors to be elected by a vote of the members at the Annual Meeting are David Pierce, representing Post #2 (Gilmer County & Fannin County); Travis Cline representing Post #5 (Cherokee County); Reggie Stowers, representing Post #8 (Lumpkin County & Dawson County).
