We are currently having external communication issues that are preventing our website and mobile app from being useable. Calls to our normal outage reporting system are being rerouted, but we are receiving the outage information.
We do have communications with all our substations, so we are aware of our current outages. Although it may not be visible to you via the outage map, we are aware of around 1600 members without power. These are primarily in the Big Canoe area, the Etowah substation, and a few smaller outages.
Crews have worked all night in Big Canoe. They are still working to resolve the issues which may now involve replacing an underground line. More information will be updated when it becomes available.
Regarding the Etowah substation, we are now assessing the problem. This station serves 1248 members in the Dawson/Pickens areas of Kelly Bridge Rd, Lovelady, Yellow Creek, Stancil’s Store, Eagle’s Nest, Cowart Rd, Chumley Rd.
