As we continue to work hard to restore power, we are now down to 5455 members without electricity
We already had several contractor crews working alongside Amicalola EMC crews and more resources are arriving to assist in power restoration. Crews now arriving are from two sister EMCs Flint Energies in central Georgia and Satilla EMC in south Georgia, 5 additional crews from PIKE Electric, 2 crews from Mastec and 2 RealTree right of way crews.
We appreciate the willingness of these crews to leave their homes and travel here to aid us in power restoration. All power will be restored as soon as is safely possible, but with widespread damage like this we know it will be time and labor intensive. Thank you for your patience!
