Beginning Monday, February 14 Amicalola EMC will have contract crews trimming rights of way along Chatsworth Highway from the area of New Hope Store west to the Murray County line.
This trimming will include work being done by helicopters on Monday and Tuesday, trimming areas away from structures. After that, the work will be done by hand to clear other overhangs and to clean up debris. Clean up of debris will take several days, but will be completed as soon as possible.
There could be some disruptions of power while the helicopter crews are working. We will strive to keep these disruptions to a minimum.
