We are down to 161 separate outages, with a total of 6,513 members out of power. The work being done to cut and remove trees from roads and power lines is labor intensive. Many of these lines are in remote cross country areas. Flooded roads and other extensive damage has made it challenging to reach some of the areas affected.
At this time, we have 3 Pike crews and 2 crews from Coweta-Fayette EMC assisting our Amicalola EMC linemen, with more on the way from Pike, MasTec and Snapping Shoals. This help is greatly appreciated!
