More help has just arrived

Do you see what I see?  More help has just arrived!

Cooperative principle #6, Cooperation among Cooperatives, states “By working together through local, national, regional and international structures, cooperatives improve services, bolster local economies, and deal more effectively with social and community needs.” In keeping with this principle, electric cooperatives have established mutual aid agreements with each other which provide the basis for two or more entities to share resources.

So far, in addition to all Amicalola EMC outside line crew members, we have secured the following to assist with our restoration efforts: Blue Ridge Mountain EMC (Georgia), Blue Ridge EMC (South Carolina), Diverse Power (Lagrange), North GA EMC (Dalton), PIKE Electric Contractors, Real Tree Inc. (ROW contractor), Snapping Shoals EMC (Covington) and Tree Line Services (ROW contractor).

We appreciate their assistance and we are doing all we can to restore all power as soon as is safely possible.
