Help Us Celebrate “$4 for 4-H”

We thought what better time to talk about Georgia 4-H than Georgia Agriculture Awareness Week. Georgia is proud to be one of the largest state programs in the country with more than 240,000 active 4-H’ers across the state.
The number four is an important symbol to the 4-H organization, but did you know just how symbolic it is? An “H” in each leaf of the four-leaf clover logo represents the tenants of the pledge: head, heart, hands, and health. April 4 marks the fourth day of the fourth month of the year. On April 4 we celebrate the “$4 for 4-H” donation campaign. Counties receiving at least four donations will turn green on a Georgia map that is updated throughout the day. We plan to participate and we hope you will join us!
