The 2022 Georgia midterm elections will take place on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. Voters will choose a new state legislature and all the state’s top executives. Georgia’s 14 U.S. congressional seats and one of two U.S. Senate seats are up for election. As election day draws near, here are some important dates to remember:
Absentee ballot deadlines
- Request for ballot must be received by October 28
- Return ballot by mail must be received by November 8, 7:00 pm
- Return ballot in person must also be received by November 8, 7:00 pm
Unlike Election Day, you do not have to vote at an assigned polling location during early voting, you may vote at any early voting location within your county. In 2022, early voting will end on Friday, November 4.
