We are now down to 7493 members out as our crews continue to make progress. We’ve had crews from other utilities helping restore power since early Friday. The crews that have been here are from Diverse Power in Lagrange, Blue Ridge Mtn EMC in Georgia, Blue Ridge EMC in South Carolina, North Ga EMC in Dalton and Snapping Shoals in Covington. Electric contractors working here are PIKE Electric, Real Tree Inc., and Tree Line Services.
We are now going to receive additional crews as they are being released from neighboring EMCs. In appreciation to a crew from Duck River EMC in Tennessee, another Snapping Shoals crew and a crew from SECO Energy in Florida. Please pray for the safe travels of these crews as well as their safety while working on our behalf.
