Our crews have made a lot of progress today, and we are currently down to 1257 members without power at 38 locations. There are 56 members out in Gordon, 382 in Gilmer primarily in the Bucktown area and the White Pen/Pleasant Valley Road area. In Pickens County, we are down to 819 members still out. These are located mainly in the Bent Tree, Grandview, Price Creek Road areas, where there was extensive damage, many trees down and many broken poles.
We will continue working and estimate that all power will be restored within the next 24 hours, if not sooner. Thank you for your patience and please remember to stay away from any downed power lines.
