Our crews continue to restore outages as a result of the storms that passed through yesterday afternoon. We had close to 7000 members out, but currently only about 1300 remain out. Lumpkin County was the hardest hit area. Eleven broken poles have been identified and are in the process of being replaced. Gilmer County had several outages and three broken poles had to be replaced.
Crews continue to work primarily in the Rock House Road and Black Mountain areas of Lumpkin County. Thank you for your patience and we will have all power restored just as soon as we safely can.
