Amicalola EMC began awarding their 2023 Bright Ideas Teacher Grants today as they presented $7,373 to 14 winning teachers in Lumpkin County. Teachers at Cottrell Elementary, Lumpkin Middle, Lumpkin High and Blackburn Elementary were surprised today with “big” checks.
This year, Amicalola EMC is awarding $50,222.74 to 74 winning teachers at 29 schools across the Amicalola EMC service area. All funding is in accordance with Georgia’s unclaimed property laws. Amicalola EMC is pleased to be able to offer this continued support of education by recognizing the dedicated teachers in our schools. Congratulations to all the winners!
