Operation RoundUp grants total $19,300 for third quarter

Amicalola EMC’s Operation RoundUp program presented grants totaling $19,300 in July 2021.  Shown below are the Gilmer Kids Ferst members and Pickens Habitat for Humanity President Monique Vinelli.  Donations were also presented to ACES Youth Home, Dawson County Wee Books, Heartlite Hospice, Service League of Cherokee County and St. Vincent de Paul/Dawson.  Qualifying individuals received grants for rent, dental work and clothing.  Three house fires of $1,000 each were also distributed.  Participating members of Operation RoundUp have generously awarded $2.4 million in the past twenty one years.  If you aren’t rounding up, please consider joining.  For more information, please call Member Service at 706-253-5200.
