Important notice:

New Policy on Meters Disconnected for Non-Payment

In an effort to reduce expenses and to alleviate safety concerns, effective April 1, 2005, Amicalola Electric Membership Corporation will implement a new policy regarding the reconnection of electric service to members who have been disconnected due to non payment.

If a member's meter has been disconnected for non-payment and the member has made arrangements to pay their bill prior to 5:00 p.m. AEMC will reconnect the member's meter the same day.  If payment arrangements are made after 5:00 p.m., reconnection will be after 8:00 a.m. the following day.
